West Palm Beach, FL, June 27, 2017 –(PR.com)– Celebrity Chef Ralph Pagano, owner of numerous South Florida restaurants including Naked Taco, Naked Crab and Naked Lunch and host of the Lifetime TV network cooking show “All Mixed Up” was severely burned in an explosion at his new restaurant in Bimini, Bahamas on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Allegedly, the restaurant premises and stove top equipment involved in the explosion were owned and required to be maintained by Resorts World Bimini.

Lake H. “Trey” Lytal III, partner at the trial law firm of Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath has been retained by the family to represent the chef due to this tragic incident. “Our thoughts and concerns are for Ralph’s care and recovery which at this point will be a very long road. We will conduct a full investigation of this explosion to determine the sudden and unexpected cause. Ralph suffered third-degree burns to nearly fifty percent of his body including his face, legs, arms and hands. We ask that you respect the family’s wishes at this time to keep this matter private to allow Ralph to start the healing and rehabilitation process which will include daily wound dressing changes, surgical debridement and skin grafting. A team including three plastic surgeons at Jackson Memorial Burn Center performed surgery for over three hours yesterday in an attempt to help with the disfiguring scars which cover half of his body.”

Chef Pagano has tried to stay positive but understands the severity of his situation. There is no timeline as to his release from the Jackson Memorial Burn Unit. Ralph and his family truly appreciate the tremendous support his fans, customers and friends have shown and ask for continued prayers in his recovery.
