Phoenix, AZ, August 30, 2017 –(PR.com)– Solutions for a Healthier World Foundation, Inc. (www.solutionsfound.org) is raising funds for Claudia Rubies, 24, of Miami, FL, so she can receive stem cell treatment to relieve her symptoms of lupus nephritis.
Claudia has been suffering with the chronic, autoimmune condition since she was thirteen. Lupus is a disease that targets the body’s tissues; in Claudia’s case, it chose to attack her kidneys.
“Claudia is a very optimistic young woman who has already been removed from kidney dialysis, which her doctors find amazing,” Executive Director Lynn Behlendorf said. “Now she needs our help to further restore her health with stem cell therapy.”
Solutions for a Healthier World funds stem cell treatments for people who need them but cannot afford them. They were drawn to Claudia’s case because she has been suffering from lupus for eleven years but has also been instrumental in healing herself. She believes in the body’s ability to repair itself, which is analogous to how stem cell therapy works.
“Innovative stem cell therapy is available to help people like Claudia,” CEO Bill Deegan said. “However, it’s costly. We want people like Claudia to get the treatments they deserve and increase awareness of these advanced cellular technologies so they become more available and affordable to everyone who can benefit from them.”
Claudia is a young woman who just wants to live life to its fullest without fear of being sick. “Not only do I want to heal myself, but I also want to be an example for everyone going through the same pain and show them there is a way,” she said. “I want to use my experience as an example to the world.”
Claudia’s stem cell treatment is estimated to cost $10,000. You can read her story and donate to her treatment at www.solutionsfound.org.
